“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” — Rumi

All my life I have been curious about understanding our nature as human beings. Why we are the way we are? What is our true Self and do we even have one (the answer is “yes”)? How does our family of origin and life experience influence the way we think, feel and approach life? How do we unravel the gifts and the challenges from our upbringing? I do believe that one of our greatest tasks is discovering our authenticity and learning how to live from that place.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social work from Loyola University and a Bachelor’s degree in acting from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.  My approach is holistic-attending to mind, body and spirit. I am Certified, Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) which is powerful for those who don't want traditional “talk therapy.” I incorporate mindfulness as well.  We will find an approach to therapy that feels right for you.  I will support you in discovering & healing your younger parts that may be burdened with limiting beliefs or trauma and interfering with the joy and connection you deserve.

I am married and the mother of three young adult children. I am also an aspiring anti-racist.
